FANFARE
FANFARE, the Academy’s educational and inspiring annual fundraiser in support of scholarships, offers guests a chance to experience the art and life of Cranbrook Academy of Art and Art Museum firsthand. All guests are invited “behind the scenes” to the artists studios. Guests are able to see where art is made and meet with the resident artists and students to experience works in progress and their research. FANFARE provides a peek into the heart of Cranbrook Academy of Art, with a rare opportunity to dine with the Artists-in-Residence and graduate students in the Academy's studios where they create their works of art, architecture and design. Join us for a festive dinner and conversation in one of our ten departments then visit the other nine for coffee and dessert. FANFARE celebrates creative people, their creations and the creative process and its purpose is to raise funds for the Academy's scholarship program. This vital scholarship support allows Cranbrook to attract the most talented graduate students to study at the Academy, one of the top-five fine arts schools in the country.
