Mark di Suvero’s sculpture "For Mother Theresa", was installed on Oct. 2, 2001 and will reside in this location for two years. The sculpture is located near the huge pine trees in the center/northeast corner of the lawn just north of Cranbrook Art Museum.

One of the most important sculptors working today, di Suvero's work is in museum collections throughout the world, and his monumental outdoor sculptures likewise have been included in temporary and permanent installations worldwide.
