Cranbrook Art Museum, located at 39221 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, is a non-profit contemporary art museum. The Art Museum is part of Cranbrook Educational Community, which also includes Cranbrook’s Academy of Art, Institute of Science, Schools and other affiliated cultural and educational programs. Cranbrook Art Museum is accredited fully by the American Association of Museums.

Cranbrook Art Museum is located on campus of Cranbrook Educational Community, on the west side of Woodward, between Lone Pine and Long Lake Roads. Enter from Woodward Avenue and go down the road; after the first stop sign go straight; after the second stop sign turn right. You will see the Art Museum on your left. Turn left and follow the circular drive to the parking lot. See MAP. 

Parking

Parking is available in the lower lot, which is located off of the turning circle at the front of the Art Museum.

Handicapped parking is available in the turning circle and a wheelchair-friendly pathway is found on the westside of the turning circle. Restrooms are located on the lower auditorium level of the Art Museum and are accessed by elevator and the assistance of Visitor Services. For additional information please contact the Museum Entrance at 248-645-3320 during regular Museum hours.

Photography Policy
No photography is allowed within the Art Museum galleries.

Cranbrook Summer Art Institute

Now in its fourth year, the Cranbrook Summer Art Institute is one of the most respected camps for quality summer art education. Simulating the college experience, the Summer Art Institute utilizes the resources available at Cranbrook Academy of Art, one of the top and most innovative graduate art schools in the country. Day trips to area galleries and professional studios are an integral part of the curriculum, which concludes with a formal exhibition.
