Eero Saarinen Is Among True Median's 16 Most Famous Architects Who Ever Lived

Eero Saarinen, son of Eliel Saarinen; Cranbrook Academy of Art student and instructor, was named one of True Median’s 16 Most Famous Architects who ever lived. Eero Saarinen’s most famous architectural works include the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri; the GM Tech Center in Warren, Michigan; the Kresge Auditorium at MIT; Yake’s Ingalls Rink; the TWA Flight Center at JFK International Airport; former US embassies in London, England and in Oslo, Norway.

Saarinen is also well-known for his furniture designs, especially those commissioned for Knoll, Inc. including his Womb chair, Tulip chair, and Tulip tables.
